WHAT OUR READERS SAY

Author, Barbara Larriva, has delivered a truly gripping and powerful read. From the very first page, the book pulls you in and makes you want to read more. The use of description in developing the plot and characters is immaculate. Noelle and Cecilia are honest and relatable characters, and you feel as though you are living and breathing each scene with them. In addition, Larriva does a wonderful job at handling difficult themes and issues including suicide, adoption, and human trafficking. Overall, One Day I Will Find You, is a heart wrenching and emotional read that will move you to your very core. Highly recommended! – Review by the Book Excellence Awards

This book covers some very important issues as cutting, suicide, adoption, locating your birth Mom, disowning your own child, homelessness, finding out you’re half black, drug abuse, forced prostitution, helping out in a homeless shelter, human trafficking. Some topics may bring up triggers for readers.

With these important issues there are a ton of very good life lessons in the book. You will think of life in a whole new light after reading this.

Barbara is an incredible storyteller! Just when the story goes one way she took it down a dark path that I didn’t see coming. At that point I was scared for the character. I was shocked at what was being done to her. I didn’t like where the story was headed. However, I stuck with the story and was happy with the outcome.

Heartrenching, real and gritty. This book completely tore me up with emotion. The author has a true talent for storytelling. You feel the utter despair along with the characters. Such fantastic writing.

WOW!!! This is deep. Very emotional and thought-provoking journey of discovery and acceptance. Very realistic example of the power of family secrets that shape your upbringing and the struggle to break preconceived notions. Captivating story is so gripping that I read it nonstop. I was provided a free copy without obligation and am voluntarily reviewing. — Annette
